Incorporation under the name Les Bois Paquet Ltée and the beginning of sales for Wilfrid Paquet & Fils Ltée.

1994

Start of sales for Scierie Alexandre Lemay & Fils inc.

1995

Name change to Les Bois Paquet-Laflamme inc. and start of sales for Busque & Laflamme inc.

2000

Name change to Les Bois Indifor Lumber inc. (Independent Industrial Forestry) and start of sales for Clermond Hamel Ltée.

2010

Major fire at Scierie Alexandre Lemay & Fils inc.

2011

Major fire at the office and relocation to the offices of Bois Daaquam inc. Start of sales for Bois Daaquam inc.

2013

Start of sales for NAFP.

2018

Robert, current president, joins the team.

2023

New logo and website redesign.

Our Founder, Yves Careau

C’est en 1993 que Yves Careau, détenteur d'une formation en mesure et classification du bois d'œuvre, incorpore Les Bois Paquet Ltée. Après avoir passé huit ans comme directeur des ventes au sein d'un manufacturier en Beauce, il se lance en affaire à l'âge de 29 ans. Après un changement de nom pour Les Bois Paquet-Laflamme inc. en 1994, c'est en 2000 que l'entreprise devient Les Bois Indifor inc., marquant également l'arrivée de son identité actuelle.

In addition to his commitment to Indifor, Yves represented the QWEB in the softwood sector for 10 years, during which he also served 2 terms of two years as president. Under his visionary leadership, the company thrived and established itself as a leader in its field.

Today, Yves' legacy continues to inspire our company, guiding us towards excellence and innovation in the wood industry.
